Join Helen Simpson and Ceri Hall, two Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO) experts, for a webinar on data protection tips and advice for everyone connected to nurseries.
Helen Simpson is a Lead Case Officer on the Personal Data Breach Service, while Ceri Hall is a Senior Policy Officer in the Public Advice and Data Protection Complaints Service. Both have years of experience working with the ICO and all things data protection.
They explored data protection in childcare, including:
- Top tips for protecting your devices and your data at home and at work
- What a data breach is and what to do when it occurs
- Your data protection responsibilities as an organisation
The first 15 minutes cover personal data protection and tips on security, while the latter half discusses nurseries/organisations and their responsibilities, as well as tips for employees and everyone within the organisation.
As discussed in the webinar, please find below heaps of links and further info on the subject of data protection, including advice from the NCSC (National Cyber Security Centre) and useful data breach and audit templates.
