If your parents are using the Tax-Free Childcare (TFC) system, this is going to come as welcome news. Managing payments for parents is now simpler than ever with a brand-new integration between the Ovivio Parent App and HMRC’s TFC system.
And because TFC requires Ovivio Pay, we’re now making Ovivio Pay available to all customers with no upfront costs. Win-win!
No more back and forth
Previously, parents had to go to HMRC to sign into their TFC account to access funds to be used against their nursery invoices. Now, they can simply link their parent app account to TFC and enjoy friction-free access to their childcare funds.
Parents can also view at a glance their remaining balance, so there’s no unease around payment failures. And on the nursery side, there’s automatic payment reconciliation so you’re not left high and dry. Ovivio takes on the HMRC contact so you don’t have to, using some clever coding so there’s no conversation required.
As easy as 1, 2, 3
First, you as the nursery need to enable Ovivio Pay. If you’ve done that already, Tax-Free Childcare is ready to be turned on in your settings. It’s that simple!
Then the parent using TFC links their Ovivio account to the HMRC TFC portal using a simple referral code. From then on, they can pay their invoices (or part of them) with ease by just selecting ‘Tax-Free Childcare’ at the point of payment. And they can pay the rest of their invoices through the app to thanks to Ovivio Pay.
And you’re done!
